Mount Storm Wetland Mitigation

Envirens provided value engineering to Virginia Power (Dominion Resources) for a wetland mitigation design for impacts due to fly ash disposal. Our evaluation included modifying the elevations and grading pattern to increase the diversity of wetland communities and hydrologic regime; modification of the planting plan and species selection and final installation of the 25-acre scrub shrub/palustrine bog planting in the Allegheny Highland Plateau in West Virginia.
